Judge of Common Pleas, Recorder of Norwich, MP for Norfolk, ob 1592, buried at St Peter Mancroft, Norwich. Engraved and published by J.M. Johnsone, 19 Newcastle St, Strand, March 1st 1836, after a painting in the Guildhall, Norwich. Three quarter length standing portrait of a bearded man in 16th-century dress holding a Bible(?) in his left hand, with hour glass and skull in his right. Windham coat-of-arms at top left. Son of Sir Edmund Windham and Susan Townsend; married Elizabeth Bacon

Part of the Windham Collection. The hall and contents were bequeathed to the National Trust in 1969 by Robert Wyndham Ketton-Cremer (1906-1969)
