Summary
Print, coloured aquatint, The Visit to the Boarding School (after George Morland) by Samuel Arlent Edwards (1861-1938). A young mother takes her daughter for a visit to the two dames at the boarding school who sit in chairs to the right of the picture. A small boy attempts to give the daughter an apple while two young girls look on from the door at the left. Black frame, glazed.

Part of the Windham Collection. The hall and contents were bequeathed to the National Trust in 1969 by Robert Wyndham Ketton-Cremer (1906-1969)
