Summary
Cut-glass bowl with silver rim, c.1904, Army and Navy. Large deep fruit bowl, decorated with six cut panels each containing three horizontal rows of four X's in squares, the shallow base cut with a 16-pointed star. The rim with a silver hallmarked band with the maker's mark 'A&N, C.S.L.', the date letter 'i', a lion passant and a leopard's head - the mark for Army and Navy, Co-operative Society Ltd, London 1904.
