Summary
Described by Sotheby's as Chinese Bowenite bowls, 19th Century. Rectangular hinged box covered in green fabric with gold embossed edge. Press clip opening. Slight damage to fabric at edges. Interior of lid padded in white satin and printed in red, H. SIMMONS / 60 & 61 BURLINGTON ARCADE. / PICCADILLY, W.1. Base has twelve circular indentations containing ten flecked green and black bowenite dishes and fragments.
