Summary
One of a pair of red woollen festoon curtains, 19th Century. (NT/UPP/T/88b is other in pair). Probably 'mauve and crimson figured stripe Merino damask' curtains provided by Charles Hindley of Oxford Street in 1852. Curtains associated with a pair of carved 18th Century giltwood pelmets (NT/UPP/F/137a-b).
