Summary
An insecticide sprayer pump with a central metal cylinder and shaft and a wooden handled plunger. A screw cap allows access to the vessel. Marked on the drum along with a picture of a late 18th century soldier with a flit gun over his shoulder, FLIT / REGISTERED TRADE MARK / Sprayer. Marked on the cylinder, CAUTION / DO NOT SPRAY INTO / OR NEAR AN OPEN FLAME / ESSO / FLIT / INSECTICIDE / KILLS / FLIES - MOSQUITOES / COCKROACHES / ANTS - BUGS -MOTHS / AND MANY OTHER HOUSEHOLD INSECTS.
