Summary
Alabaster, An Alhambra Doorway, Spanish School, 19th century. A Spanish polychrome stucco and alabaster relief model of an Alhambra doorway (one of four similar) comprising two windows above two arches, light polychromy on the upper half, tiles in the lower half with brighter colours.Original Rafael Contreras label inside framing materials revealed during conservation 'AJIMEZ DE LA SALA DE EMBAJADORES'

With Frost and Reed, Bristol, 1886; purchased by the National Trust from the estate of the late George Richard Lawley Gibbs, 2nd Baron Wraxall (1928 – 2001) with the assistance of the NHMF, the Art Fund and donations from members and supporters in 2002

PICTURE DEALERS and in the centre is the Royal Coat of Arms logo with CARDIFF / 24 HIGH ST. / No 628 in pencil DATE 29/3/86. Inscribed in ink "leading to / Chapel Passage".
