Summary
Tennis 'dress' with divided skirt. Bodice made in six main pieces, skirt in two. Cream poplin. Sleeveless bodice with peter pan collar, top-stitched by machine. Bodice slightly shaped by three tucks from yoke and waist on both fronts. Divided skirt is shaped by fine tucks from waist to top thigh. Fastens at centre front with eight assorted buttons and machined buttonholes. Two cream plastic flower-shaped buttons, four white plastic buttons with moulded design and two mother-of-pearl buttons with carved petal shapes.
