Summary
Black ribbed silk bodice lined with black twilled silk/cotton mix. High neckline, neckband and yoke made of cream satin. Full length sleeves flare from elbow, narrow inner sleeve of machine embroidered silk muslin. Yoke overlaid with the same fabric. Waistband of wide black velvet ribbon finished with half bow. Bodice trimmed with spotted net edged with narrow black velvet ribbon and frill of machine lace. Inner waistband. Stamped with dressmaker's name (worn and ellegible) of Condnit Street, London W.1. (possibly 'Julia de Pomeroy Court Dressmaker').
