Summary
Cream crepe french knickers, made in four pieces. All hand-sewn seams and finished by hand. Narrow waistband formed by folding fabric to make double. Legs hemmed with running stitch and caught up at intervals to create scalloped edge. Butterfly motif in white cotton filet lace applied to both legs. Fastens at side with two shell buttons. Label; 'Mabel Hamilton, 11 Gt Stanhope St, W1'.
