Summary
Knickers; Pink silk crepe de chine camiknickers. Made in five pieces, self fabric rouleaux straps. Rectangular gusset pieces fasten with two small shell buttons. The garment is sewn entirely by hand including seams and bust darts. Edges are scalloped, finished in embroidery (buttonhole stitch) off-white thread. Applied off-white silk motifs decorate front hem (three motifs) and yoke (three flower sprays). Waist seam straight across at back, rising to an inverted 'V' at centre front.
