Summary

Cream silk crepe de chine. Made in two pieces and entirely hand sewn and finished. Hand-rolled and stitched at waist edge. Legs scalloped and edged with applied cream satin, secured with back stitch. Buttonhole stitch edge. Applied floral spray in satin decorates both legs. Knickers fasten at centre back with a single shell button and worked thread loop.

Made by donor's aunt, see donor file. Aunt was professional lingerie maker.
