Summary

Cream silk crepe de chine. Made in four pieces entirely hand sewn, with hand rolled and stitched edge at waist. Legs finished with scalloped edge, hand-embroidered in button hole stitch. Applied cream satin flower motifs. Centre back fastening with one mother-of-pearl button.

Provenance

Made by donor's aunt, see donor file. Aunt was professional lingerie maker.
