Summary
Knickers; Fine white silk camiknickers made in five pieces, back, front skirt, two fronts and back yoke, plus two gusset pieces and straps. Full skirt, joined with rectangular gusset pieces fastening with three shell buttons. Narrow rouleaux straps. All seams are top stitched in blue thread by hand. Bust darts also outlined in the same thread. Row of stars embroidered at top edge. Initials 'J.S' outlined in back stitch lower left skirt. Hand stitched.
