Summary
Emerald green gazar cocktail dress (silk), constructed from eight main pieces. Back cut in one piece, two long side panels, skirt cut in one piece. Open placket to top of thigh level at centre front continuing centre front opening created from two bodices pieces. Skirt gently gathered onto bodice at waist. Main seams are machine stitched, finished by hand. Loned throughout with light green organza. Wide 'boat neckline, full sleeves (to wrist or just above). Dress fastens at centre front with four large self covered buttons, a metal hook and eye and two metal press studs at waist and a metal hook and eye and two metal press studs at neck. There is also one half of a redundant press stud fastening above second button hole up. Label; 'Jean Patou Paris' woven label blue lettering on white hand stitched into back neck.
