Summary
Cocktail dress, pale blue machine lace with small floral motif. Decorated all over with small iridescent sequins stitched onto the lace. The lace is backed with fine blue tulle. Under dress of plae blue satin backed crepe, fastening with zip and small hook at centre back. Flesh toned tulle straps. Inner petersham waistband fastens with metal hook and eye at centre back. Straps of underdress retained by blue tulle straps in shoulder seams of dress. Over dress has narrow skirt, three-quarter length sleeves and rounded neckline with scalloped, picot edge. Made by Norman Hartnell, London. Fastens at centre back with metal zip.
