Summary
Cream cotton long baby's gown with round neck and long sleeves. Sleeves are gathered at shoulder and cuff to a small band of machine embroidery at each wrist. Round neck edged in small frill of machine made lace with drawstring tie at centre back. Centre back quarter opening with two linen covered buttons. Bodice with machine emboidery and cutwork insertions each edged with hand sewn feather stitch. Further insertion runs along waist edge. Skirt gathered to waist with two lace insertions at hem. Laundry mark at centre back opening. 1920 (circa)
