Summary

Fine linen muslin overcoat in deep brown, sheer. Large puffed sleeves with press stud fastening to tighten to arm. No collar, neckline falls into lapels at front. Single hook and eye fastening at waist creating an edge to edge opposite which are two bound button holes each on centre front panel. Coat fronts and back flare to bottom and are cut on bais. Two shaping seams to back neckline. Centre front edges are overstitched to give picot effect. 1930 (circa)
