Summary
Part of a two piece evening gown possibly fancy dress in 18th century style; Bodice - Grey silk, figured with rose design, lined with salmon pink satin. Trimmed with ruched net and grey velvet ribbon bows, 3 grey edged frills below short puffed sleeves. Skirt very full, similarly trimmed with lace frills, opening over the petticoat of net with graduated grey velvet bows. Front opening trimmed flat rosettes of self silk with diamante centres. Label - Madame Owen. 1880 (circa)
