Summary
Dress - Cotton, very small blue / white gingham print. Bodice with corded seams and trims, large squared collar with frill around corded edge. Sleeves very full at top; two rows of corded ruching below shoulder seams; lower part close fitting. Fastened to waist with five bone buttons and handworked button holes. Very full skirt closely gathered onto waistband of bodice. Cross ref with KIL/W/05289. 1839 (circa)
