Summary
Wedding gown - Ivory satin, princess line, tucked net and insertion lace yoke and undersleeves, round neck. Bodice and sleeves ruched satin with silk fancy braid and machine lace trim. Back skirt fullness falls from high waistline to train effect at hem, lined sateen with taffeta frill. 1909 (circa)

wedding dress box bears message - Wedding dress and veil worn by Edith Kate Jones on 3rd June 1909 to Edward Phillips Sanelby at St michaels, Handsworth, Brimingham by Rev R.R Needham, and by their two daughters - Edith Elaine on 9th March 1940 to Owen Sydney Hart at St Mary's, Handsworth by Rt Rev Bishop J.H.Linton DD - and Kathleen Betty on 12th June 1940 to Bernard Anthony Pask Hughs at St May's Handsworth by Rt Rev Bishop J.H.Linton DD. 'May it bring the same happiness to the next to wear it' The wreath of orange blossom was also worn by Kate jones and the necktie by William Jones on their wedding day (1st November 1881)
