Provenance
Boots c.1923 belonged to a farming family with a family history of 70 years of farming in Bideford, North Devon. They were found hidden inside a brown velvet quilted muff worn by the donors grandmother on her wedding day, they belonged to her son who died aged three and a half after contracting an abdominal worm from a visiting dog that licked him. His grave is at the East the Water cemetery, Bideford.
