Summary
Part of a two piece dress of cream silk crepe with chenille stripe, trimmed with rouleaux lace. Bodice; bolero style chenille striped crepe and rouleaux lace, with lace guimpe with paste brilliants and high boned collar over gathered soie de mousselaine to centre front waist; waistband of bais cut chenille-striped crepe; undersleeves of soie de mousselaine, cuffs of paste lace; edges trimmed with pink silk twill and back velvet. Back with V shaped guimpe and fourteen chenille buttoned false bukle to waist. Boned satin foundation. Made by 'Runney, Beck and Rance, 100 Campden Hill Road' Label in waistband. 1910 (circa)
