Summary
Mob cap of fine, open crisp muslin. Divided by two drawcords (tying in bows at nape) into caul, band and goffered edging / lappets; lappets with cream silk ribbon in central channel to draw up. Illustrated in Nancy Bradfield's 'Costume' V111 pp 35-37. 1800 - 1820 (circa)
