Summary
Two piece afternoon dress - Black satin brocaded with small pink and green floral design in interlaced stripes, lined throughout in pink silk taffeta. Bodice in bolero style, with inset panels over bust and on sleeves of black chiffon over pink chiffon, wedge shaped basque to back, trimmed with bands ruched black satin; guimpe with high boned neck and undersleeves of cream embroidered net over cream chiffon, trimmed with black velvet and a cream chiffon frill; hook and eye front fastening. Skirt gored, with back opening, pointed back hem , front panel of black chiffon over pink chiffon; hem with flounces black chiffon trimmed with ruched black chiffon over flounce of pinked pink taffeta lining graduating towards back.
