Long white cotton baby's day dress with fine Ayrshirework fillings. Scoop neck slightly squared, short sleeves with piped straight frills, the outer most frill tightly pleated. Robings on bodice, double robings on skirt. Front skirt panel embroidered from waistline to hemline, the embroidery widening at hemline, the hemline picot edged. 1830 - 1870 (circa)
