Summary

Navy straw hat with dished crown, brim with turned down edge and trimmed with navy grosgrain ribbon, tied in a bow at the back. Navy grosgrain ribbon with central bow goes over hair at back of head to hold hat in position. Note; Traces of make up on right hand side of front brim would indicate that the hat has been worn according to the fashion of the time, over the right eye. 1930 (circa)
