Summary

Silk silver gauze gown with woven pattern in gold. Straight style with high waist. Short sleeves with tie effect, inlet panels of gold net. Stomacher panel of gold net sewn with glass beads silver cord, artificial pearls and pastes. Epaulettes of fine crepe cross over effect on front bodice with paste metal buckle. Fastens at back; fastenings are partly concealed by panel of gold net as front. Skirt gathered slightly. Original underskirt has beed replaced by one of blue nylon. 1910 (circa)
