Late 19th century rectangular needlework box inlaid with metal, lined dark red fabric with fitted tray and space below. Contents of needlework box as follows; 6 m-o-p (and brass and bone) one London 1834?, cotton reels, 2 silver thimbles, 5 assorted bone thread winders, m-o-p spool, emery pad, m-o-p spool, waxer, fretted ivory emery pad, bone tape measure barrel with magnifying glass for threading needle, 2 needle books, m-o-p handled stiletto, bone bodkin, steel hook, steel bodkin, turned bone/ivory bodkin needlecase, turned ivory whisk with red ribbon and gold thread (for cleaning workbox), turned ivory / bone bobbin (for winding thread), 5 reels of Clarkson's Italian Silks, Cardboard needlebox with print of lady playing mandolin underneath, large ivory ring and small rings (for purse netting?), 3 pieces of unfinished grospoint on paper backing, hexagonal patch work emery pad, painted satin needlebook (poor condition), 4 painted satin cigarette card panels. 1870 - 1900
