Summary
Wooden log box. Possibly originally a bread box. With carved central design and flanking armorial shields. Dated 1637. Carved inscription, 'Dieu Done Tout' ('God Gives All'). The date 1637 is inconsistent with the Throckmorton arms on the front that contains the 'red hand' of the baronetcy. It is possible that the box was constructed after 1637 using earlier pieces.
