Summary
A Moore Brothers style white glazed china oil lamp base modelled as three winged cherubs upholding the lamp reservoir, on a tripartite scroll base. Decorated with embossed flowers and leaves and moulded roses. Slight discolouration in glaze. Marked on the base in green below a crown logo: T. GOODE LTD / LONDON / COPELANDS CHINA / ENGLAND. Incised on base: F / 60. Chip on one side of base. Described by Sotheby's catalogue as a Copelands lamp base, circa 1880.
