Summary

An oak three-tier buffet, English, containing some late 16th/early 17th century elements but probably assembled/altered in the 19th century. The three open tiers planked front-to-back and each with gadrooned aprons. Raised to the front of pairs of turned, gadrooned and carved bulbous supports, and to the rear on rectangular stiles carved with stiff leaves. The front supports fitted with flat, square feet with petal corners.

Provenance

Purchased by National Trust in 1992 through private treaty sale with NHMF aid.
