Summary
Print, eching Temple Church, Bristol by Charles Brooke Bird (1856-1907)after an original by J Syres, of Temple Church, Bristol. Frame badly buckled. In centre bottom of picture written in black script is - Published by Frost and Reed, Printsellers, Clare St, Bristol, 1894. Bottom left is a circular mark with an animal in the centre and a ribbon scroll on either side with printed SEAL USED BY THE / MASTER AND CHAPTER / OF THE KNIGHTS / TEMPLARS OF ENGLAND. On bottom left in pencil is - 71824. Etching is on wooden mount inside of which is darker wood beading and narrow wooden gilt mount. Glass fronted frame made of wood as NT13287. On back of frame bottom centre is cream coloured paper label with black printing - FROST AND REED / BRISTOL / CLARE STREET also - CLIFTON / 47 QUEEN'S ROAD written in pencil 1386 then date of 30/7/94. Back board coming away from frame and edge paper torn.
