Portrait miniature, watercolour painting on ivory, Maria Catherine Giffard, Lady Throckmorton (c.1763-1821) by Andrew Plimer (Wellington 1763 - Brighton 1837). Oval. Half-length portrait of a young woman, turned to the right, gazing at the spectator, long powered hair, wearing a white satin dress with a black sash, fichu and pearls.
