Summary
Tail coat; Midnight blue fine quality napped wool, sleeves only lined with cream silk. Double-breasted; collar 64mm high; M notch; short lapels; button stand; square, cut in; tails short, 254mm at base; waist seam as far as back pieces; two flapped false pockets at waist level. Buttons at top and hem of back pleats; pockets in back pleats lined cotton; sleeves gathered at shoulder; French cuffs, rounded, slit with two buttons and holes. Slight padding at breast. Breast pocket in left side. Fastenings - 'Treble Gilt stand colr A. E. & S'. 12 down front; 4 at back, 2 small cloth covered on each wrist (2 missing). Two notes found in breast pocket. (male)
