Summary
Uniform pelisse - Other Ranks pelisse of a Hussar Regiment (not 10th or 15th) made from Oxford blue napped wool with a Guardsman red wool twill lining with cream cotton lined sleeves. It has a stand collar (70 mm 2.75 in) and is single breasted with the front cut on a curve. It is sleeved and is waist length. It has imitation lambs wool on the collar, down the front and on the hem. The cuff with an oblong inlet comes to a point and is edged in yellow braid. The back seems are ornamented with yellow braid. The front of the pelisse is profusely laced with yellow worsted cord. Yellow cord loops are fitted at the collar to allow the pelisse to be worn over the left shoulder. There are 34 base metal buttons (6 missing), half ball buttons - 17 down each side of the frogging and 17 down centre front for fastening. (uniform)
