Summary
Bonnet made from coffee brown cotton velvet, linen and silk. it has a sized canvas inter-lining but no lining. it is cut in one piece with two pleats at the back to shape the brim is stiffened with wire and it is roughly stitched. the brim is trimmed with a band of black velvet and decorated with metal and green glass bead and sequins in a flower design. it has a black silk ribbon bow with long streamers and long black linen ribbon streamers falling from beneath the beaded band at the brim, each tied and stitched in a decorative knot. possibly Scandinavian.
