Headdress - A middle eastern horseshoe shaped headdress made from indigo-dyed cotton, Ikat woven satin; stripes of blue, green and cream on claret red ground. Coarsely stitched with unbleached lined thread and tying cords across points of horse-shoe and half way up. (female)
