Summary
Drawstring purse made from sea green silk and trimmed with claret silk with a lining of fine leather. It is shield shaped and cut in four pieces with each section being joined with narrow piping and a silk frill around the top. It has a green drawstring cord with blue silk tassels and a multicoloured tassel at the base. It is decorated with embroidery - a woman churning butter, a crown and coat of arms with the word Bretagne, a man, and two ovals with 'S' and 'K' with flowers and leaves. It is French.
