Summary
Theatrical bicorne hat - Made from black wool and lined with black satin with a black patent leather headband and a label 'Royal Coat of Arms; W Clarkson, Perruquier and Costumier to His Most Gracious Majesty and the Royal Family, 41 and 43 Wardour Street, London WC.' The brims are bound with black silk and there is a plaited loop with black ribbed silk covered button at the base and a red, white and blue silk ribbon rosettte. A 1790's copy possibly French - Napoleon?. (male)
