Summary
Hat - Made from fawn silk plush with a lining of cotton sides and silk crown with a label 'Christys' London; manufactured for Miller, Anderson and Co, Adelaide'; with a centre label cut out and piece of net put in the space. The leather headband has a stamp 'Manufactured by I T and E Christy and Co. London, 35 Gracechurch St, 113 Bermondsey Street'. The brims are bound with narrow silk braid with a braid headband fastened with a small buckle. (male)
