Summary
Uniform hat (naval?) - Made from black beaver and lined with silk with a leather headband. There is a label stamped in gold on the lining with the Royal Coat of arms and ' ETT and...ANCE, 120 Queen Street, Portsea'. It is cocked with a straight back flap and curved front flap. The brims are bound with black silk braid. It has a black silk cockade and loop at the back of the front flap for the plume. (male) (uniform)
