Summary
Uniform hat - Made from black beaver. Lining missing. It is cocked with curved back and front flaps. The brim is bound in black silk satin and there are two pieces of black braid on either side of the front flap going diagonally across (General Service Pattern) There is a hole in the crown for a plume. The height of the flaps corresponds to the 1900 Dress Regulations. (male) (uniform)
