Summary
Uniform hat - Made from black beaver and lined with black silk. It is cocked with a flat back flap and curved front flap. It is designed to be carried flat (General Officer Pattern). The brims are bound with black silk braid. There is a black ribbed silk cockade. The use of braid as edging is not mentioned in the 1900 Dress Regulations - could be ADC. (male) (uniform)
