Summary
Uniform hat - Made from black beaver and lined with cream silk. There is a label 'C and V Almond, late Bicknells and Moore, Army Accoutrement Makers etc. 14 St James St, London' with the crown above. It is cocked with front and back flaps slightly curved. It is trimmed with 3 loops of gold wire over a black braid cockade. There is a gold button in the centre of the loops with the Royal Coat of Arms. There may have been tassels on both points. Royal Household/ Civil Uniform 1st class. (male) (uniform)
