Summary
Bag; Reticule - A tapestry weave of silk threads with a silver background with stylised flowers and leaves design in black, green, red, yellow. The design is diffenrent either side. It has a silk lining (indigo warp red weft). It is edged with wool cored silver thread lace with silk cored silver handles. It fastens with cord loop and button. Possibly Middle Eastern. Similar to a reticule in Laing Art Gallery, Newcastle and Stranger's Hall, Norwich. (female)
