Summary
Wedding bonnet - Made from cream silk, part lined with cream silk with silk ribbon across the nape of the neck. The silk is drawn up over 10 hoops of cane. Five silk covered wire struts support the crown. The bonnet is trimmed with a frill of silk gauze ribbon and tulle on a foundation of straw plait. Cream silk lace frames the outside edge of the brim and bavolet. It fastens with cream silk ribbon ties. (female)
