Summary
Drawstring purse made from knitted silk and metal thread in black, pink and gold coloured metal thread. There is a medallion on either side with gilt surrounds with centres of painted ivory one side witha scene possibly of the Madelaine, the other with an obellisk and two lions - possibly the Place de la Concorde, Paris. It is lined with red silk satin with silk satin card discs behind the medallions. It is trimmed with triple tassels of pink to cream silk thread headed with plaited gilt wire. The sides are decorated with the same tassels hanging from a silver cord. There is a drawstring of pink silk cord. (female)
