Summary
One of six pieces of dress fabric - Part of a dress and 6 fabric pieces made from a wool silk mix with a cream ground block printed with flowers and stripes of lilac silk satin weave. There is a plain selvedge with a repeat of 150mm. There are ivory silk satin sleeves. The sleeves are lined with glazed white cotton. There is a separate narrow apron pinned to the front of the waistband of ivory silk stiffened with muslin crossed with lilac ribbon and edged with a narrow frill of blonde lace.There is a separate collar of stiffened satin piped in lilac with a narrow frill of blonde lace. It fastens with tie tapes inside the waist and 4 small hooks centre back with worked bars and 2 large hooks and eyes at the waist. There are 6 fabric pieces. One one printed in yellow dye '849 F 289 06 OY 1830' and a crown and 'British Manufactory 766'. Similar fabric - SNO.TC.437. (female)
