Summary
One of a pair of Oriental slippers made from yellow satin embroidered with blue woollen cloth beneath. They have cream painted wooden platform with a leather sole. They are lined with natural linen with a rough linen insole stitched at the edge. They have a painted canvas middle sole. They are embroidered with blue and cream silk floss in a floral design using satin stitch. The seam is over sewn with thick black silk. The edge is solidly stitched with interwoven red silk thread.
